BREAKING NEWS: Australian Army announce almost year long counter-terrorism training exercises in Perth, Sydney and the NSW coast from the Central Coast down to Jervis Bay.

The Australian Defence Force will conduct counter terrorism operations from February 2022 to December 2022 across metropolitan Perth, Sydney and the NSW Coast.

The training will be conducted both of a day and night, the public should expect to see and hear military watercraft, vehicles, unmanned aerial surveillance systems and military personnel carrying weapons.

The Defence force has said that blank and paint ammunition will be used as well as pyrotechnics, and have advised the public that they should not fear and think there is any actual threat or they are under attack.

The Defence force will not provide media access or any further information in relation to these operations, citing the need to protect operational matters.
