This is the Kardashev scale in its most simplistic form.
Basically, the Kardashev scale measures the energy output of a civilisation, ie. the output the civilisation is able to harness and use for itself and its technology.
We aren't even on that scale, we are a Type 0 civilisation that destroys itself and nature. HAHA ?
