By pressing the U button at the top, this turns on military planes only.

If you click on a plane and want to ISOLATE the flight path, press the I (i) button.

The L buttons turns on the LABELS.

If you want to select many different planes and their flight paths, click the M button (MULTISELECT) (it helps when you have selected the ones you want to then press ISOLATE, then you get a nice clean overview, like the images I sent above).

You can also use the TRACE (T button), that's when you should get a trace of all the planes that are visible on the zoomed in area you're at. However I think it only seems to start tracing when you press the button, so I tend to click through different planes (which gives me the entire flight path's history immediately) and then use MULTISELECT and ISOLATE.

L stands for LABELS. This turns on all visible planes' callsigns and can be handy for scanning a large area for callsigns that are peculiar and/or to check for 'known' planes.

P button = PERSISTENCE Mode. Leaves planes on screen after signal lost, also good for keeping track of a plane in case of it suddenly dropping off the radar..
